Well,you asked for opinions.I have to admit that I still have trouble with God letting{not sending}pp to hell and all the killing in the old test. but do understand that evil is evil and had to be stomped out before it just kept spreading.You gave a great question for disscusion.God gave Abraham a chance to find a reason not to but he couldn't.No good pp there.There is a HUGE differance between living under the law and now under grace.Praise God for it.If you know much about the old test. could you possiably emagine trying to live under the law?Wow!It gives me chills to think about how hard that had to be.Praise God we have the blood of Jesus to wash away our sins!But I fell we take that to lightly.I'm guilty of that.Under grace we seem to sin and then repent and call upon Jesus blood to cleans us.We fall into a laps of security,thinking as long as we do what we want we can then ask Jesus to forgive us and kept repeating the same process over and over again.I'm very guilty of this.God said his spirit would not always strive with men.He said in Revelation that He raither we wre hot are cold but if your lukwarm he will spew you out of his mouth.Milk toast christians fall in that catagory to me also.Just tell pp how forgiving we are and all but it's just words if it's not how our heart feels.PP posting like they are holyer than thou but it it's not really in their heart.I'm not judging for I'm guilty of all of it.God knows one's heart so we may fool pp by writting the right stuff but God knows our hearts and we sure can't fool him.Satan can quote the bible!But he still thinks he can win for God's word is spiritualy discerned and Satan no longer has God's spirit.Guess I'm just kinda talking but you had a good question to just talk about back and forth.I was happy to read it.Love,Dot.

Reread your post and I didn't give my opinion{that's what u asked for,right?}on some stuff.As for as I know and need to know,yes,I believe God is the only ones to give life.It is Faith and thats what we have to live by.It is a mind boggler tho isn't it?I thank u for bringing up how nothing was made without Jesus.PP never mention that!And the word became flesh and dwelt among us.When you speak His word,he has to perform it for he is bound by his word.But you must speak it with a pure heart,as much as we can while in this flesh.But God's word is Him as you pointed out.I just want to tank you so much for staring an intelligent conversation that is just starting good disscution.That is what I'v always wanted the this forum to be for{Eve and her husband asked for this great forum}and let the prayer forum I asked for to be for posting prayer and pp take the request seriously and having good christian conversation here.I will be blunt and metion such a person as Lapis{and others}that believe differently.They'll bring up God but also believe{if one could use that word}in other stuff that is not God's word.This forum was asked for because then all talk was on the spirituality forum and wanted one to get away from them and let them stay there.But they just had to follow and it's always trouble,at least with me{and others I talk to at my email agree}.When the 2 forums started we stuck together and would just ignore their post and not reply and they left for awhile.But forums got slow and we started replyng to them again and at least for me the forums lost there meaning.Why start a forum to get away from them and them invite them here?They have there forums.Your post gave me hope that maybe we can get this back to a christian forum and ignore them.You may think I'm wrong but u asked for opinions and as I said,what's the pupose of the forum when it's just like the spirituality forum?One can't be a christian and belive in the occult like astrology and out of the body exsperiences and such at the same time.Now,give me your opinion please.Love in Christ,Dot.
