One of the things I stumbled upon several weeks ago was a condition called Lymph Stagnation. The lymph system (from what I've read) is the sewer that takes the waste away from our cells.
I know from reading that one of the problems I have or hopefully had was lymph stagnation. Basically the lymph system gets so clogged up that it can't do its job of eliminating the waste.
The symptoms of lymph stagnation include (from what I've read) pain and tightness between the shoulder blades (this has to do with a plugged up Thoracic duct) which also leads to numbness in the hands while sleeping....I would often wake up and be scared to death because my hands were numb and have no feeling.
Another symptom is weighing more than 2 lb's before bedtime than first thing in the morning...the theory is that the body is retaining water during the day because it needs to neutralize the toxins that build up....and...you guessed it...I always weighed 3, 4, or even 5 lbs more at night than first thing in the morning.
So....what do you think is tied in with the lymph system (according to what I've read)....yep...you guessed it...the liver.
My back is not sore between the shoulder blades, I have not awaken with numb hands any more, and this morning I weighed essentially the same as I did last night.
So....I believe that my
Liver Cleanses have gotten my whole body going...including the lymph system...my neck is less and less swollen every day....I never realized I even had lymph glands in my neck...but now whatever they were...they are shrinking.
Again...I'm no doctor...and no doctor will probably even listen to me...but I look forward to each day now to see how much better things are getting.
One more thing...I was playing a trivia game today and the question was which organ breaks down Carotene and turns it into Vitamin A.....of course Vitamin A is good for the skin right?...anyway..I was the only one who got the answer right...I guessed the Liver...and that was the answer.....interesting don't you think?
