It would be very interesting for everyone to know how to make your own tinctures, decoction, infusion etc, instead of buying them. I hope that they will create a forum to make your own preparation. It will cost less for everyone.- Re: your own tincture Elaina

I agree with you. Formula making is fascinating. I have made many formulas. They’re great. Do you make your own formulas? Or are you trying to find out how to make them? They really are easy to make. And you’re right, they’re much less expensive than the ones you buy. And better, too.
Elaina is right, there is a forum on making herbal formulas. I posted one small formula there. But no one else seemed interested.

This is a reply to # 42,356This is the first time that I made my own tincture. I've got some echinecia near my house. So I made it with the root, leaves and petal. I will prepare other tinctures in the near furur but first I've got to find the herbs ! Of course It would be fun to share with other people how to make the preparation.

I am very familiar with Sam Biser, Dr. Schulz, and I would add these:

I have made tinctures based on above teachings, and what is usually left unsaid is: Prepare your tinctures during a NEW MOON; Harvest your tinctures on the FULL MOON. In the interim, place the dark glass container containing your receipe in a window where the moonlight can bathe it.
Shake it thoroughly at LEAST twice a day. The longer they sit, the stronger they become!
