Unfortunately, you can not begin to get better without going through cleansing, etc and with it the "die-off" before you begin to get better. This is essentially Herring's Law. It has got to get worse before it gets better. One of the main reasons is that the bacteria or other infection, etc fights back by releasing more toxins, etc before they succumb.

You will hope that you get die-off symptoms, then you know that the antifungals are working. Maybe you might get a headache, perhaps a few days of having cold symptoms, feeling a bit 'foggy brained'. It doesn't last that long (few days) - unlike the illness which goes on for years unless you start getting brave enough to treat it! Just cut back on the dosage if you feel it's too much for you, go slower.

Sometimes there are side-effects to Acidopholus, some stomach noises and movement. Big deal. Start taking it.

I would recommend a probiotic that is proteolitic and breaks down protein. It can be used with your current supplementation and it's used the same way. The probiotic is L.Salivarius and it's a stronger bacteria than acidophilus or bifidus. Salivarius is found in high amounts in colostrum and interestingly enough, it falls off to trace amounts once milk starts to flow. It's designed to go in first and lay the gridwork for the weaker bacteria that follow in the milk.

My 18 year old daughter has had great success with this bacteria. She has candida under control now. I use it myself , for cleanliness and the backbone of a healthy flora.
