I have suffered rosacea for a number of years. I have tried all the usual treatments and
Elimination Diets and wonder if tyramine rich foods could be exacerbating the problem. I remember a couple of years ago not eating cheese (which I love!) due to a bad sinus infection and my skin was great! However over time it didn't make a lot of difference again.
I've been looking up stuff on the internet and I think that these foods may be the culprit, ie mainly
aged cheeses
red wines
cured fermented meats
and to a lesser extent:
yeast/yeast products
avocados & bananas (esp overripe)
chocolate
caffeine
generally pickled fermented foods.
I'm going to seriously have a go with this. I'll let you know but would welcome any similar experiences with this.
