I've been dry skin brushing before each shower for about 10 days now. I brush towards my heart, paying special attention to problem areas and I can already see such a difference in the tone and elasticity of my skin. Over the last few years I've lost about 60
pounds and in a few areas, mostly where I had bad stretch marks, my skin was sort of loose. Like I said, already there's been such an improvement. I've been following my showers with a good slathering of Coconut Oil and here's where my question lies... I've noticed in a few areas that I'm getting little bumps. Almost like little pimples but they don't get white heads and nothing happens when I squeeze ( bad, I know but I had to investigate ). I'm wondering if my skin is just going through a detox with the brushing ( I've also just finished a cleanse ) or if the coconut oil is too rich for everyday use. Also, I'm just noticing now that some of the stretchmarks have completly disapeared but others, although they are much smoother, are slightly red...more so than they normaly would be. Is this also just a symptom of healing? Is there anything else I could be doing to improve the elasticity of my skin?
Thank you in advance for your advice. This is such an awesome community!!
Peace and Blessings.
