Yep, kids can certainly open their minds! Those judges were very full of themselves, and me, being the crazy artist, had to hide my MOCKING face! I felt like sticking my tongue out at them. I should have worn my penis necklace!

The tumbler is REALLY loud and you have to run it for 24 hours to take the sharp edge off the window glass. And they are expensive. I got mine from Rio Grande. They are for rocks really. Do you have a grinder? Grinding each piece by hand though....I would never have been able to make my first piece...I'd still be grinding, LOL!

Did you want to incorporate glass in your jewelry, or do other things with it? The window glass thing is a whole other thing from the glass fusing thing I do in a kiln. If you want to try some ready make glass, that's fabulous, have you looked at ebay? I put a link to just one of the many wonderful sellers that have ready made cabachons. No, this is not my ebay site, I haven't sold there for a couple of years. I find that the galleries and stores pay much better. Thought I'd give you an example of some that I found that are very nice! You can get them very cheap.

A word of warning though. If you are not used to looking at dichroic in real life, it's really hard to tell what might be a quality piece. There's a lot of crap on there! I don't know what experience you've had, but if you interested, I'll link up my email and you can send me something you're interested in.

So, you can find ready made if you don't have the equipment. You have to be careful though if you are using heat on any of your jewelry, and instead set them cold.

Don't know what exactly you are doing, you might already know all this stuff. Leave it to me, I'm just a blabber mouth.
