Dear Faith,
I'm a great believer that our bodies
will heal themselves of just about
any disease or condition, if we
eat clean food and drink pure water.
I know that sounds over-simple, but
it really isn't.
Most people are looking for a magic
pill -- a silver bullet -- that
will heal all their hurts. Alas,
it doesn't work that way; not with
pharmaceuticals and not with
alternative health supplements.
Illness and
Depression are a sign
that you have to make major changes
in your lifestyle -- and especially
in your eating regimen. It isn't
easy to make major changes, Faith,
and that's why most people remain
sick.
Here are some major changes I'd like
you to consider:
1) Give up meat, cheese, milk, and
most dairy products. They are full
of chemicals that cause people untold harm. If you must eat meat,
make sure it's from an animal that
was raised in free-range condtions.
Treat yourself to an organic yogurt
every day. Otherwise, say goodbye
to meat and dairy.
2) Substitute canned sardines, tuna,
and salmon for your meat. Make sure
the fish are wild-caught. Sardines,
especially, are wonderful for your
body. I get mine at Costco.
3) Your main drink should be distilled water -- preferably that
you make yourself. I have a Waterwise 9000, counter-top distiller that makes me a PURE gallon of water every day. You can't
be sure of the water you buy at the
markets. Drinking water may SOUND
boring, but once you're into it six
weeks or so, you'll find it a
delicious treat.
4) You should get a juicer and start
drinking fresh veggie and fruit
juices. Again, it sounds dull, but
it isn't. Fresh juice will go right
into your bloodstream, and begin the
healing process.
5) You should try to eat 70 percent
living food. Cooking kills enzymes.
I start every day with a banana,
grapefruit, and fresh pineapple.
During the day, I'll eat a pear and
orange, perhaps an avacado, and
make my juices. Dinner every night
is an ENORMOUS salad that's filled
with homegrown sprouts, organic
greens, brown rice, canned fish,
and lots of other veggies. I never
get tired of eating basically the
same dinner every night. I'm 63,
Faith, and I'm in radiant health.
My body KNOWS what is good for it,
and it never gets bored with eating
much the same foods.
6) You should do a colon cleanse.
I recommend the cleanses of Dr.
Richard Schulze . There's no telling
how much fecal matter from years and
even decades past, is stuck to the
inside of your colon.
Dr. Schulze
says that 80 percent of the people
who come to his clinic are cured
of their conditions JUST by doing
his colon cleanse. It is VERY easy
to do, Faith. You merelyt take some
herbal capsules with your dinner.
Once you're having two to three
bowel movements EVERY day, you begin
the second part of the cleanse; the
part that loosens the accumulated
gunk and sends it out of your body.
If you follow up on only one of my
suggestions, let it be this one.
7) You need to take a good multple
vitamin. I recommend Daily Advantage
which is formulated by Dr.David
Williams of Mountain Home Nutritions. I take two of his packets every day, along with several other supplements he makes.
I trust Dr. Williams implicitly.
8) You should up your daily dose of
vitamin C. THIS IS IMPORTANT! Go to
the vitamin C forum and read my post
entitled, Mega-Doses of Vitamin C.
I take 14,000 mg of vitamin C
EVERY day. I've been taking mega-doses for 28 years. And I never
get sick. If you up your daily dosage to 12,000 mg, lots of your
health problems will disappear.
I have more suggestions, but that's
enough for tonight. Let me know if
you want to hear more.
Blessings,
Owen
