I love that you're fasting to get back into touch with your body's honest needs. That's one of the times that I recommend a fast, when emotional eating gets out of control. I have a few posts on emotions, anxiety, and how we get programmed that way - and how to reprogram ourselves, be sure to read those posts. :)
While you're fasting, see about stocking up the pantry with the good stuff you'll be eating from now on, and throwing out the icky stuff you need to limit from now on (the ideal diet is 80% healthy 20% decadant, no need to cut out fun foods all the way!) :)
Please check out my recipes for Kichadi, Moroccan Chicken soup (which can be vegetarian), Protein Shake, cleansing salads, juice recipes. These must be incorporated into your basic diet ASAP if you wish to see a lot of success in managing cravings, symptoms, good energy, etc. :)
For weight loss, the best thing you can do is a lot of liver management, so be sure to read my liver notes. :) A clean liver will just burn off the excess fat, it's really amazing and effortless! :)
