My view is that ascorbic acid is the only antioxdant I need (although the others probably won't hurt). It is also relatively inexpensive, and unlike the antioxidant vitamin E, will not acumulate a potentially toxic excess in my tissues.
My view would be that the evidence is OVERWHELMING that ascorbic acid makes a CRUCIAL difference in our health. Here are just two quotes:

I have wondered why my bowel tolerance is so high. Only two things come to my mind:
1) Dr. Robert Cathcart said his bowel tolerance doubled over the 20 years that he had been taking ascorbic acid (I also have experienced this), and
2) I have a mouth full of [mercury]
Amalgam from cavities from decades ago.
Personally, I do not question the amount, i.e. if my body wants it (as indicated by the "bowel tolerance" method of dosage indication), I assume it needs it. How do I know at any one moment that I am not breathing in (and/or eating, etc.) anthrax or some other deadly virus and/or bacteria? I just keep my blood and tissues saturated at all times. This is more or less the situation virtually all animals have "24/7" from birth to death.
