I do not know where I got herpes from because I first discovered evidence of it years into a monogamous relationship where my partners issues had resulted in mutual celibacy. The partner does not have herpes and I had no concerns about passing it to him because we did not have sex any more.
Several years after leaving that relationship during the early months of a very passionate new relationship my partner manifested signs of a herpes outbreak - which he had no previous indications of having. Basically, neither he nor I had any idea that we had the condition before his outbreak.
I have been in a long term monogamous relationship during which time I learned that I had herpes and may well have been the "carrier" . I have been fortunate to have very few outbreaks; maybe three during the entire 7 years of my LTR.
I have been taking a high level of systemic enzymes for nearly a month now AND I have just broken out in the absolutely WORST outbreak of this condition I have ever had. I first realized that I was having an outbreak when I had been scratching the back of my thigh for about a half an hour and started noticing itching on my calf as well. I looked carefully at my leg and saw some familiar looking patches of raised skin. I then checked my genital area with a mirror and noticed the telltale symptoms of a beginning outbreak.
Prior to now, the outbreaks I have had have been exclusively in the genital area and consisted of two external "sores" comprising a tiny zone of my body.
This time I have what appears to be an almost generalized outbreak with isolated "itchies" ( little pimple like satellites ) scattered here and there on my hips but mostly concentrated on the right side of my body.
I am baffled (and upset as this horrible little virus is so good at effecting).
I can not imagine how this could have spread beyond its previous area. I am wondering if the systemic enzymes could have influenced this because they are known to "thin" the blood however I was of the impression that they break down the outer lipid envelopes of viruses and make viruses vulnerable to the bodies immune system (and/or to the enzymes protein digesting aptitude itself!!!)
Does anyone else have experience with herpes making an appearance far from the genital area AND!!! once this occurs do all future outbreaks happen in all of the new body locations as well???
I feel very perplexed about this and very much less than happy.
