Kevin, have you seen a doctor or been tested to see if you might have scabies or some kind of external
parasite infection in your groin area? I admit I don't know much about this subject, but I understand the itching and burning is very uncomfortable and pubic hair is an attractive area for the beasts. I would not know how to self diagnose this and am just throwing the idea out at you. Does the Walmart where you work have one of the new walk in clinics where you could get checked out?
If you want to self experiment, then rub some oil, olive oil will work, over the entire area where you have the discomfort and a few
inches beyond. Let it set for twenty to thirty minutes and then wash it off. In this case I would suggest you use a mild anti-bacterial soap, you need something to help cut the oil. I like Miracle II natural soap, but it is expensive and must be ordered, so just use what you have on hand for now. I know in women that pin worms can travel and cause vaginal irritation, however I have no idea if men are affected in the same way. If you can afford it, I suggest you go ahead and order a good
parasite cleanse. I just ordered the Humaworm cleanse, it sounds very promising. By the time it arrives, you should be well into your
Colon Cleanse and that would be a good time to address the
parasite issue. Your late night craving for sweets is a pretty good sign you might have internal parasites. Humaworm says that cravings for
Sugar will diminish as
parasites begin to die.
Oil swishing is an interesting experience. So far the only improvements I've noticed have been in my mouth, but others report whole body improvements. If you do decide to oil swish I would not recommend olive oil, it is heavy and strong tasting. A mild light oil like sunflower or, my favorite, sesame oil would be a better choice. Start with just a small amount and swish only as long as you are comfortable and spit it out. Don't try for any long term records, just do what feels right for you.
Finally, I want to share a suggestion from my Naturopath for those nights when you binge eat. Doc. says to take a mineral supplement with plenty of magnesium to help counteract poor eating, especially at night. Doc.'s rather indelicate way to determine dosage is to "take just enough to make you squirt", in other words, determine your bowel tolerance to magnesium, then back off slightly. This does not replace healthy eating, but it does allow us to enjoy a treat once in a while. Very few people are perfect in their diets, but we must be careful to eat as healthily as possible most of the time and make sure "treats" are just that-occasional treats.
Kevin-I feel a deep connection to you and your struggles. I get a sense of deep
Depression and feel you are feeling things are hopeless, and that you fear going on with such health problems that interfere with normal living. Perhaps because I am dealing with the same struggles and know there are many here who do not understand how chronic health problems and injuries can affect you emotionally. Still, it is up to you to make the right moves and right choices for you. I hope beginning the
Colon Cleanse will give you a feeling of empowerment in taking responsibility for your health. I hope some of what I am telling you will resonate. Learn to trust your instincts and do not do anything that "feels" wrong to you-no matter who suggests it. I went against my instincts last week and made myself very ill with a chemical other people swear by. Please keep posting. We may not have all the answers, but that are people here who care. When I first came here years ago, there were several kind compassionate people who helped and guided me through the rather complicated world of natural healing. I did experience healing that lasted over two years. The problem I have now is the result from a serious injury and I confess, neglect of my health and making poor choices when I knew better. At any rate I want to help anyone I can, even if its just giving advice. I do know quite a bit through experience. Please don't allow people to get you down or run you off. My hope is you will get your turn around and return to health, then begin to offer kind and compassionate advice to newcomers following in your footsteps. I have received far more help from people who have "been there-done that" than I ever got from any self-proclaimed expert. Keep searching and keep asking questions-just remain open to the advice you get.
