Yesterday I read a post on the Moreless Forum where he told of a person with pains in his legs, lower back and neck getting fast relief from a drink containing 6 tablespoons of limewater, blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar. I was suffering from those very same pains. Since I had all the ingredients handy, I made one. First my stomach swelled up, then I felt a tightness in my chest, and I developed a headache that kept me up most of the night. Like an idiot, I took another one of those drinks this morning and the headache was even worse and has lasted most of the day. Since the drink did nothing to relieve my leg pain, I will not try that drink again, but I'm wondering if that much limewater, or that combination of ingredients can trigger that kind of massive headache?
My doctor says to always balance magnesium and calcium when using mineral supplements. So I'll go back to my green drinks for the minerals my body seems to need. However, I can't help but be curious why I had such an extreme reaction to a drink that was supposed to relieve pain?
Edit-I forgot to mention I also used some kelp, but that is in my green drink and never did cause problems.
