i dont know, but yes it could be a thyroid issue. i would supplement with some high quality kelp on a daily basis. kelp balances out the thyroid. do this for a while, if nothing changes then it may not be a thyroid issue and you can try something else.

also this might be too new agey for you but the next time this happens you could try channeling "spirit fire" via meditation.

this is a mercury/fluoride/yeast issue to me.

i am comminicating with someone right now via email about this problem.

the system has been poisoned and these things are breaking down the metabolic process. i had paralyzing cold chills and never able to recover 24/7. my average body temp was below 97. i got rid of all fluoride(its everywhere), the mercury from my mouth, and got rid of my yeast infection. the tyroid and liver were malfunctioning. i couldnt be wet at any temp whatsoever and shivered in a hot tub or sauna. now, i go barefoot all the time, winter and summer and wear very few clothes. i quit checking my temp about a year ago. eat all organic, drink only distilled water, eat sea plants for iodine, liver flush, get the mercury out of your mouth, throw out your microwave and teflon pans, avoid all other fluoride(big study but a must do).
