Shelly, I really need some help. I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl who has suffered from constipation since birth. I breastfed for one month, then switched to formula. At the age of 10 months she began to refuse the formula, no matter what we tried and has been drinking nothing but juice and a water since. Now that she is on solid foods, we push a lot of fruits and vegetables on her, which she seems to enjoy, and she drinks juice all day long. She is also very active so none of the traditional causes really apply.
I should also mention that I have been constipated my entire life. I can not remember a time that I wasnt. I can still remeber the time in grade school my father rushed me to the ER becasue ! was screaming in pain. After much tests the doctors told my dad I was "full of shit". I hadnt pooped in over two weeks. I can remeber being forced to drink Milk of Magnesium, but I don't recall whether it helped or not.
Is my daughters problem hereditary? Is it a virus, bacteria, parasite or what? The pediatrician is not concerned becasue she poops three times a week and he says that thats enough. But I see my daughter go behind the piano at least once a day to hold it in until the urge passes. If I approach her, she cries and begs me not to touch her. I am often forced to apply a little oil to he anus to get the poop out, and when it comes out it is huge!!
Please help, I can't bear to watch my daughter suffer and I know she is distorting her colon by holding it in all the time.

This is a reply to # 355,432Hi dfish! Shelly is not here anymore, but there is still plenty of help for you and your daughter! You should post at Ask Andreas Forum or at the Constipation Sopport forum, the Bowel Cleanse Support Forum or some of the other forums here! I would look into the Vitamin C flush or even Urine therapy which are both great ways to clear the bowels! There is also an Enema and colonic forum that may help you ! I myslef have helped my constipation tremendously with mega doses of vitamin C and UT ! Easy yet affective! Although both have been demonized by the medical establishment, but thats because they both work! Chaz

MoreThis is a reply to # 355,432my take is alittle different. i'm sure there's lots of things to give your kid to make her poop. and i'm sure that they're all good. fletchers of castoria was recommended by Edgar Cayce for constipation, as well as castor oil packs (may be to logicistally difficult for a kid) or cascara sagrada bark, etc. there are all sorts of things to eat to make sure that your child poops.
i definitely don't agree with the doc - 3 times a week ain't s*** (pun intended.)
But this doesn't sound like a physical problem, because she does indeed get the urge to poop. She just overcomes it. If her constipation were physical, she just wouldn't get the urge to poop. Does she know you're constipated? (of course she does, I'll bet). Perhaps she thinks cuz her mamma doesn't go to the bathroom, she shouldn't either. Could it be her way of staying connected with her mama? I don't know if that strikes a cord. Perhaps there's more to it than that; perhaps a mental hangup of her own from this or another life. Personally I'd ask Andreas just cuz i consider him to be a medical intuitive, and if you ask if this is mental, i'll bet you'd get an answer.
If it is, i personally go for energy workers - this life and past lives. better than psychiatrists. holistic naturopaths are to doctors what energy workers are to psychiatrists. i go for the holistic naturopaths and the energy workers, and leave the doctors and psychiatrists behind.

This is a reply to # 355,441I dont disagree with your advice, lisag, but I dont necassarily believe this is a psycological problem !I believe she doesnt want to poop because it hurts, her colon is compacted and her stools are hard and dry! And I cannot say that herbal laxatives are any better or safer ! Herbs like senna can have side affects! Also there is more discomfort with herbal laxitives ! I have done both herbal the Vitamin C flush and Ut the later where unnoticabl as where the herbals churned me up and often caused much discomfort for up to an hour before relief was reached!- Re: shelly- i need help for my toddl... lisag

No physical problem in the body is ever just physical. Its impossible, since we are made of spirit, and spirit up makes the physical. It may not always be such a direct connection - eg., the whole of society makes food that is toxic. 100 people can eat toxic food, and 80% may not get sick, 20% might get alittle sick, 1% might get deathly ill. Physical bodies are chosen because they suit our spiritual aims. A body that has constipation was chosen that way, or it was a known possibility in the bloodline, or the developing of the constipation over a lifetime because of poor diet has within it needed seeds for growth. I'm not discounting the actions of a lifetime as being involved, eg., diet. But there are no accidents, even when the solution appears to be just physical. There's always something mental being worked out, whether it is personal or collective, hence the need for the physical challenge.
i had the intuitive feeling that this is more than physical when i read the note.

i do know 2 people that can work with her without her being on the phone, even the age of 2 1/2 being okay. the guy i mentioned, kam yuen, might do it, not sure, and i know people locally where i am that will work with people from any part of the world without them being on the phone, any age ok. one lady in particular i work with does it all - physical healing, past life healing, the whole thing, and i think she's just totally accurate in her impressions about what's causing the illness ... she told me info which backed up a blood test result of mine to an amazing, amazing degree!, and then started working on it. So I personally would recommend her in any case, esp. where the person has been having a hard time figuring out the nature of the illness. But i'm not so dumb as to think that the energy work is always the way to go, i was just making a point :)
I have told the energy worker i work with about curezone, and its fine with her for me to give out her name if I ever feel guided too. All she needs is a picture of the person to start working. But just cuz she's not in the room with the person, doesn't mean she's not working on the physcial body.. she does that work too. But I'm aware that people are so different, that just cuz i think the world of her, doesn't mean that everyone else would be so inclined.
i am very sick. i do both things; take care of the physical, and i do the energy / conciousness work too. I work with one person on the physical and 2 energy workers, both women, and while i'm not better yet, i feel that for me, and i'm truly not speaking for anyone else, i've got the right balance of healing modality, even though I don't believe my recover will be fast at this point. what the truth is in this particular case with the 2 1/2 year old i don't know, we both read the mother's notes and came away with 2 completely different feelings about it. i thought mental, you thought physical! so who knows?
Anyway I got a good smile over your last note. Showed me just how obnoxious I was being trying to ram my opinions into my note :)

This is a reply to # 355,432I suggest you try giving her a tablespoon of olive oil each morning or at bedtime and see if that helps. It works perfectly in children as a stool softener.

This is a reply to # 355,444I agree Miss Ev and much easier to get down then castor oil! Also the milk of magnesia would do in an emergency, it sure worked for me but it should not be the total remedy, wether it be psycological or physical the cause of her constipation should be looked into! Be it diet or in need of a colonic to get to the bottom of it or possibly an enzyme or a beneficial bacteria imbalance! Is there an anti biotic problem or even vaccines !
