As much as your child needs to get calcium in his diet, the media and health "authorities" have hyped this up more than necessary. As it is a marketing ploy.
My child has never had cows milk, once in a while he will have goat milk. Most of the time he gets his calcium from his foods and a high quality liquid vitamin supplement.
