Quinthius asked when NOT to use UT.
It occurred to me that one would want to be doing all the good basics, like sleeping well, moving about doing interesting and good work, eating the best food to be had, drinking the best water, etc.
And that trying UT without doing everything the best one knows would be pointless.
I recognized that wasn't really what was asked.
Even existing mercury
Amalgams and the drugs consumed are faced, in TOTAL, daily by the body. Somehow our bodies arrange to manage the total amounts, sending the majority released each day out the 'back door' (if you'll pardon the expression).
Isn't this similar to a plant's ability to limit the amount of naturally-occurring nickel in the soil that the plant will take up?
If one re-ingests the tiny traces of metals, or the larger amounts of drugs, found in the urine, it's not as though we have added more, fresh toxins to the body.
And, the traces in today's urine are accompanied by all our body's coping hormones and other elements that keep us alive while dumping as much as safely possible through the other system.
Again and again I hear that the kidneys 'balance' our liquids for re-use, tipping out excess nutrients, along with the materials created specifically to manage our particular toxins.
Quinthius' excellent question leads me to conclude that there may NEVER be a time when UT is inappropriate.
What do you think?

(I wonder how my first post similar to this one sounds in the thread it landed in. Blush.)
