Shelley and everyone, I just want to let you know how good Cod Live Oil has been to me. It just occured to me (duh!) that my skin's been doing *really well* since I've been slurpping that stuff down :-)
AND I bought the "natural" flavor one as opposed to the one with lemon so I can share it with my cats.

Now about your hair... do you think it's diet related or perhaps a bad hair product with silicone chemicals finally catching up to you? Lots of hair products have silocone, based on the same principle as Armour All, but any car aficiando will tell you never to use Armour All and same goes for hair - after awhile the coating it gives kills the hair or leather or plastic to which it is applied. Pantene is a major culprit. Europe kicked them out of their markets.- So shelly, what type of hair dye to ... #68716

This is a reply to # 319,314L'oreal Preferance. Not the grocery store version, but the beauty supply version with the blue label that is the dye only, you have to buy the white stuff (what IS that called?) separate. It's the only one I've found that truly covers gray without ruining the hair or getting brassy right away. I sure wish I could find a more natural alternative, but so far none of the Black-Walnut versions do the job. :(

This is a reply to # 319,315Hi invincible,
I now take a couple of tablespoons a week. I stagger it: every other day, then every three days or so, then back again. I just had a tablespoon today and I won't have another till Sunday or Monday.
Also, I take lots of granular lecithin -- tastes good! I mix it up with some rice milk and cinnamon and eat it like dessert.
