I think you are so right. Really bothers me to think of people who go
on alcohol and coke binges for weeks, spend a little time in rehab
and they are good to go. And look fine. Granted they may pay for it later,
but they don't suffer long. Not that that's what I want to do, God knows
I'd be dead or at least end up in the hosp., but to try to do so right
and still feel and look like Hell, doesn't seem right. Saw small article
about "parathyroid" [controls/produces stomach HCL] but haven't been able
to find much more about it. Do believe this [HCL] and intestinal flora
is what keeps bacteria/germs under control. These two along with bile
from the liver is where digestion comes in. Don't produce enough HCL
and not having good flora [from taking freaking antibotics] and you
got double trouble. Undigested food feeds bad bacteria, next thing
you know you've got leaky gut, now you livers gone into overtime trying
to clean all things from your blood stream that doesn't belong there.
Stones form, now you have no or low HCL, no good intestinal flora and
lack of sufficient bile, boom, constipation. Stress kicks into high gear,
and it all goes down hill real fast from here. Had someone tell me the other day, "my father was a meat and potatoes guy, coffee and beer was all he drank, lived well into his 80's, and was never sick. How come?" My guess is he had a strong stomach, didn't take
Antibiotics and didn't worry too much about anything.
Man, what a lucky guy. You hear germs won't live where thay can't surrive.
So if you had proper amounts of HCL, food would be digested correctly,
nothing for germs to live on in your gut, no need for
Antibiotics .
Didn't mean to ramble. If you find more about HCL, PLEASE, be sure to
post.
Thanks
