Hi Layna,
I hope your protocol is working.
Actually, I feel great. When that nurse said that I couldn't give blood because of my hemoglobin reading I was sooo bummed...and then I felt tired! HA...what the mind does. So I went home and tried to look up some stuff here and there on the web but came up with too much stuff and decided to jump on my trampoline for 30 minutes instead! Yah
What I meant by primarily raw is that I have been having wraps and the tortilla isn't raw. OH, and then last night I went to a healthfoods market called Mothers and had a portabello sandwich with 9 grain bread. Heavenly! But everything else is raw.
I am type O+. I dont like eating for your
Blood Type Diet because there's sooo much stuff on there that I'm not supposed to eat...go figure. I have been eating like this for several months and I feel sooo much better than what I used to feel like that the low reading from the hemoglobin probably didn't phase me too much. I used to fall asleep at work and when I was at home, I'd be sleeping or really tired. My hair was falling out and getting a lot of grays at the top of my head (around the widows peak) and I was really really really cold ALLL the time. Now I feel great. And my hair is growing back and I have brown hair with white tips...that means to me that my gray is turning back to brown.
A guy at Mothers told me that there are sooo many things that could cause someone to have a low hemoglobin reading that he couldn't help me with any protocol. So now I'm a little nervous.
Maybe I'm not eating enough...I just don't feel hungry like I used to since I cleaned up my act.
What blood type are you? How long have you been doing the
Blood Type Diet ? Are you seeing a nutritionist/ND, western MD or are you just going by the book? I have been my own doctor so far and thinking maybe I should see someone but not sure.
I do know that eating raw veggies, fruits and
juicing have totally turned around my physical and mental health.
Thanks for your insight
