I am 40 y/o and have Gilberts since late teens and have the typical symptom of yellow eyes. Other than that I feel fine, exercise regularly and try to eat right with the help of my wife. For years I have been told by doctors that this is nothing and don't worry about it and so forth. Drinking water does help and is a good reminder to drink your 8 glasses a day.
Well my last doctor visit, due to a life insurance blood test, gave me new insights to treating this. My doctor was saying that my liver is blocking the bilirubin from normally excreting through the feces and it is also blocking a lot of other things from exiting my body like normal drugs and such. I then did a search on the net and found out through this site that there are actually stones that form in your liver and gallbladder and cleansing will unblock this bile duct that keeps the bilirubin from exiting! Another fact that intrigued me was that this so called disease starts from late teens to 30's which would be the amount of time for stones to form, depending on your diet and so on. I am doing a parisitic cleanse now and anxious to do the kidney, liver and gallbladder cleanse very soon. At the very least, I figure this should help my liver and can't hurt, even if it doesn't help with my Gilberts. If it doesn't, I have heard that TMG (tri-methyl-glycine) helps tremendously with this. I know that doctors (MD, and even DO variety) say not to worry about this, but I can't help thinking that things are not right and if I can do something about it, I will. Here's the link for the TMG:

Just wondering if anyone has tried this. Appreciate your response!
Also just found some info that supports my thinking:
