Probiotics are the good flora that lives in your bowels. During the MC, you lose a lot of them doing the SWF. Taking some form of probiotics will help your intestines to restart their digestive process. It can help in reduction of bloating and other intestinal issues that could arise when you start the re-introduction of food.
If you are a dairy eater, yogurt will help to re-establish your intestinal flora. It is the cheapest way.
If you are non-dairy, then you can find probiotic capsules online or at your healthfood store. Acidopholous, bifidum, and lactis are a few of the most common strains that you should be able to find.
If you decide you want to take them post-MC, you should start taking them the day you start the soup.
