Absolutely, I think if that is the way you are comfortable doing the cleanse,
it would be appropriate and I even think Burroughs would not have disagreed.
I discovered my first long cleanse I have an absorption issue and so that although the nutrition the maple syrup supplied was adequate, but I needed *more than enough*.
Here are the liquid minerals and vitamins I use. One bottle is a 30 day supply. I can recommend them but perhaps any good liquid vitamin would be fine.

If you check out my blog entry, "Junk in the Trunk", you will see the other things I am taking, including a tablespoon of Goji Juice, and an ounce of
Essiac a day.

This cleanse has been a breeze, and although it most likely is that I have been doing 1 day fasts and doing other cleanses in between my longer fasts and may be pretty clean, I also would not dismiss the benefit of adding some of the liquid supplements.
Good luck on your cleanse! The biggest challenge is always the mental one but if you can relax and go with the flow, like me, you will discover time flying by.
I can also recommend blogging your way through a long cleanse. It helps keep you focused and honest with yourself....ggg
I am on day 15 and you can read of my journey at my blog,
The Master Cleanse Express.
