This will be my first time attempting a cleanse. After much reading and pre cleansing, i'm ready for my first Cleanse. I am very excited and can hardly wait. I will take some Senna tea in a little while before bed. I will keep everyone updated each day on my progress.
I will most likley need some support come the second and third weeks. I will be doing this from Feb 2nd to Feb 28th and breaking the fast on March 1st. Wish me luck!!

This is a reply to # 249,618I am starting a 21 dayer tomorrow -- I have all the ingredients today and am getting ready to drink my tea. I am totally toxic - my mother passed suddenly on 1/14 and had a stroke on 12/24. Since that time I've comforted myself with food and way too much alcohol. I need to heal my body and mind - and this is a good start. Pray for me - I'll need all the support I can get. I'm afraid to get on the scale *I bet I'm up 15* I also hear it takes 21 days to get all the alcohol out of your system.
I use peppermint tea -- mainly to keep my mouth busy, and find it comforting.

I too have been abusing alcohol lately. I'm on day 3 and am feeling much better. Thinking more clearly, more energy, etc.
Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. I really love how everyone in this forum is so supportive and really pulls for one another. I check in here often for inspiration and feedback. I don't know if I could stick to this without this site! - Day 1 ...hard to drink so much lemo... vinnyc025

MoreThis is a reply to # 249,624Well, day 1 is winding down and I will share with you what has happened. I have eliminated about 6 times today, i'm starting to feel cold, and my sinuses are stuffed to where I could bearly talk (which is normal for my sinuses).
I have found it hard to drink 6-12 cups of lemonade though, I will try to force down another 2 glases tonight before I go to bed to make it to 6. My anus is burning alot when I eliminate, but the reason is obvious. All in all, i'm happy and on to day 2.
PS. Sorry to hear about your loss, I will pray for you.

This is a reply to # 249,690day 2 is now done and day 3 is beginning. I had some burning with my elimination, and WOW, it was hot. My co workers think I'm crazy, and they showed me how supportive they were by talking about fast food all night. Anyway, day 2 was a breeze. I actually got a boost of energy. One guy asked me how I have so much energy when i'm not even eating food...lol, I tried to explain, but it was useless.

Check the btu of the cayenne pepper...should be irradiated..I buy it bulk at the health food store
I like hot stuff and use 90,000 I have worked up to a tablespoon(not during mc,though)

This is a reply to # 249,808Its getting a bit tougher to stay with this, but i'm still going on with it. I hope it gets easier like i've heard. Someone had a heart to heart with me today about my diet, and his last words were "your going to die eventually, just like the rest of us". I did give that some thought, but in the end, i'm sticking with my diet.....ON to day 4
