I am on my fourth day of MC, but since yesterday I have been getting really bad lower back pains in the buttocks kidney area. Also I had nausea this morning. I don´t do the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) but I have Senna tea in the morning and at night, which is working well for me.This is my second attempt at MC, the first time I gave up on day 4, this time its been really good except for this back pain. Can anybody help me? Should I stop? Is this normal?- Re: Do you drink any water? ru2el

I'm on Day 4 too, and it's my first real Master-Cleanse (did an Ultimate Cleanse a year ago, it was different), so I'm no expert, but what I've read from different posts on Master-Cleanse Forum looks like you are getting some real junk out of your kidneys. Do you drink any water besides your lemonade? Why don't you help yourself a bit?
Since drinking water is considered some kind of kidney cleanse and is welcome during MC.
Oh, and do you see any kind of sand or anything unusual during your urinating and b.pee? Somebody described to have something looked like sand, can't remember where I've read it.
Off to drink my SWF.

MoreThis is a reply to # 249,057I am drinking lots of water, but I can´t seem to drink the quota of 6 glasses of the syrup and lemon juice, I can just about drink 5! Also I am peeing quite a bit as well as the bowel movement in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon. Apart from the backache everything is going great and I go the gym every night without any problem. I haven´t seen any sand when I am urinating, and the colour of the pee is quite transparent!

This is a reply to # 249,079well the lemonade aids in the detox. so get that last glass in.
how much is a lot of water.
you should be drinking half you weight in ounces per day.
you need to have the intake amt of lemonade and water corrected to feel better than you do.
also back pains are a sign of detoxing. roll with it if it still occurs after the change. peeing sand is actually small kidney stones.
another thing to try:
detox bath
1 cup of Sea Salt in a bath as hot as you can stand
soak 30 minutes
scrub off
careful getting out of the tub you may be dizzy.

This is a reply to # 249,084Thanks for all your advice, I have increased water intake and yesterday I finished all 6 glasses of the juice. Last night I slept really well, no back pain! But unfortunately I went to the gym and did a slow circuit class and today I feel so sore all over! I won´t be doing that for a while!! Usually I just do Aquagym which I find is the best exercise, followed by 10 minutes in the jacuzzi and then either go for 10 minutes in the sauna or steam room! I would recommend this to everyone as your pores open up and it feels as if your toxins are coming out. My skin fells so soft and smooth and all blemishes have disappeared! Only 5 more days to go!

This is a reply to # 249,079When you go to gym, you can do aerobics, but something heavy like weight lifting is not recommended. Could not find it, but there is a post about it on this page. Look through. Take care.
