This is my 10th day on the
Master-Cleanse and I only feel as if I've just barely begun to scratch the surface as far as detoxification, cleansing, etc. I thought I'd just do the 10 day cleanse, but now really want to continue on. So far I've noticed nothing spectacular exiting my body (... as in former
Colon Cleanses where I did the Dr. Natura Colonix cleanse for 3 months and was astounded by the results!). And no real detox symptoms except I'm crabby sometimes. I must say that I was amazed to find that I have had almost none of the dreaded hot flashes! I quit taking all medications, supplements, vitamins, everything on this cleanse and have had less hot flashes than when I'm on medication for it! Is that weird or what?
On the
Master-Cleanse I've have not cheated even one time (that in itself is almost miraculous!) and have gone strictly by the "book", adding nothing to the standard
Master-Cleanse but have only lost about 5 pounds. As I'm overweight, I was hoping for the "normal 2
lbs. per day weight loss" but hey,...... it's more about cleansing, detoxing & good health... right? That understanding definitely keeps me going.
As far as food urges..... nothing has even begun to tempt me to break this cleanse. I even sat with 3 friend after church Sunday in an Italian Buffet sipping my lemonade as they all pigged out on some of my favorite foods! My thoughts are "it'll still be here when I finish the cleanse!"
My question: I've only been taking 1 tablespoon of maple syrup per 2 tablespoons of lemon juice hoping for a little more weight loss. I've upped my intake of cayenne drops (Dr. Christophers 200,000 HU) to about 14 drops per drink. Here's the thing, I've been adding a few drops of Stevia to the drink since I cut back on the maple syrup. What do you think of that?
I love liquid Stevia... it's been the only way I could handle the liver flushes. I put some in the epsom salt/grapefruit mix and it's not too bad (ok... it's still not great but at least with Stevia it's tolerable!). I also put some in the grapefruit/olive oil mixture and it tastes GOOD. Yes, good! So, my question is: is a tiny little bit in the lemonade drink ok?
I'm really enjoying the lemonade drink now that I drink it cold - not icy, just cold. My first 3 days on the cleanse I drank it hot and didn't care much for it... warm wasn't so good either. But I love it cold. It's pretty interesting that I have not had one problem with an upset stomach, heartburn, etc. with all the lemonade & cayenne I'm drinking. This is truly a good thing!
I'm a salt freak and use a lot of
Sea Salt in my regular diet so the 2 teaspoons for the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) just didn't do anything for me. Four teaspoons and I threw it all back up! But with 3 t. of Celtic
Sea Salt I got good results.
Thanks to Curezone for this great forum..... I never would've heard of this cleanse, much less done it, if I hadn't found this website. I've completed 15
Liver Flushes also, which I found on curezone, of course. What a blessing this site is plus all the great cleansers & flushers who contribute! Thanks a bunch and God bless you all!
