Trolls will bring down Curezone if we let them, many people have left Curezone because of Trolls, look at the state of the dysbiosis forum, gone from one of the busiest to almost dodo extinction. Trollslayer can chuck shyte anyway if that way sends the Troll to roost.
Tansyfirecracker thinks Trollslayer needs a pay rise or at the very least a chocolate medal.

This is a reply to # 2,415,128The Internet is a great tool for communicating information. Just as with any tool, like a hammer, or matches, it can be put to good use. In the hands of a child it can cause harm. That's why we don't let children play with matches. Similarly, some Trolls should have their internet privileges revoked.
It is unfortunate to see grown men using what is otherwise an awesome tool, for childlike or nefarious purposes. Most of your normal people use the forums to learn and share information. When they see this person's type of activity, they just go elsewhere, the website statistics prove that.
These Trolls unfortunately, use our internet tool to show off their swine-like behavior and roll around and fling the slop they roll in, onto other people. The few of them have succeeded in turning the whole site into one big pigsty.
Like, a post titled "Never Trust a Christian". What good is that for anybody?

This is a reply to # 2,415,144Yes I agree Trolls turn Curezone into a pigsty. It's the last place people want to be when Trolls are about. The worse troll is Trapper on here. He's posted some pretty nasty stuff on here also, even murdered corpses for innocent people to click on so they get the shock factor. Once I made the mistake of clicking on one and a woman was dead in a bath with half her head missing. Now just imagine if a child clicked on that, we don't know if children haven't clicked on it, in all probability they have. Once you see something like that it ingrains into your brain and you never totally forget it, it certainly corrupted my mind and I totally regretted clicking on his posting, there was no warning on his posting. This use to be a busy hive but he wanted to take over it and he set out to deliberately destroy how good it was, his language was disgraceful, not how a Christian would speak.
Every once in a while some true Christians come back and it gets going again but the problem is the people who use to enjoy being here are not all here now, Trapper has had a huge influence on this forum.
He is sitting back waiting for it to go quiet so he can take over it again. We all put a huge fight up against his take over but we couldn't stop him posting and as the forum is not moderated anymore, he said what he wanted and got away with it.
It makes you wonder why this has been allowed, damage has been done. Most forums are moderated fully, it's very unusual for Trolls to get away with the harm they do.
It would make a huge difference if moderators were managing Curezone again.- Re: never trust a TROLL loquat1

I proposed a very simple and effective solution to his malign influence some 6 or more months ago, and other than vekky, nobody else wanted to know. I hate to be the one to say 'I told you so', but the rest of you were convinced that he had every right to post here (debatable at the very least), or else you thought you might be able to change his ways.
Personally, I was convinced you were all living in cloud cuckoo land, and so it has proved. So don't be too surprised now to find him and his toxic brand dominating the forum. As long as you engaged with him, it was as inevitable as night following day.
You were all warned, were you not?
Now we have trollslayer returning abuse with abuse, and firebrand tansy the firecracker cheering him/her on. If any of you seriously think that is gonna advance our cause, you had better think again.
You'd all be better off dousing the flames with petrol.

I don't think flames have been doused at all, Trollslayer has only made a couple of comments. What if Trollslayer got rid of the Troll? I personally like Trollslayer, someone has to speak up and yes we all know Mr Loquat Jammy Dodger what you said about Trapper because everyday you keep reminding us! Now go get yourself a medal. BTW we were all engaging with Trapper for a long time before you came up with the idea not to engage with him so to say don't be surprised is a bit of a surprise. Also you say you proposed the idea, I don't think so if my memory serves me correctly on that account, it was that troublemaker who came onto the forum who kept saying things about me and then ran for the hills, you agreed with her if my memory serves me correctly which I am certain it does so you actually proposed someone else's idea. Anyway you ignoring him has made little difference to his comments.
Hooray for Trollslayer, its a breath of fresh air.. At last we have someone who is prepared to make a stand against Trapper.

This is a reply to # 2,415,168Tansy, a lot of what you say here is true and Trapper may very well be the reason this forum is not as active as it used to be. But for the record (AGAIN) I do want to say for myself at least, Trapper has not influenced whatsoever my absence at times on this forum. I ignore Trapper for the most part, unless I want a good laugh, and then occasionally I'll read his posts if they interest me. I find Trapper interesting in general at times, but I have a psychology type mind, so maybe this is the difference for me. I love studying people, all kinds of people, including trolls. Now I too said at one time, I would ban Trapper if it was up to me, and I still stand by that because he is disruptive here and makes this forum a mockery. So I am with you there. But since I have no control over the situation other than to ignore him, then it is what it is, and I'm not bothered by it. He can't stop me from posting, and whatever I want to post, I'll post, with or without him here.
I'll say this too: I don't believe Trapper is why Refreshed left. We don't know why she left. We could blame Trapper, but I think we'd be off in doing so.
As for Rainy, she's always had lots to do in her life that kept her from posting for periods of time long before Trapper showed up.
Loquat, I think he's like me. He'll post when he wants to post, and Trapper won't stop him.
Now Ed/Life in the Spirit/ has been posting a little here more lately again, and I think he's the same way, he'll post what he wants regardless of Trapper.
All that said, I understand your concerns about Trapper, but I just wouldn't give him all the credit for the weakening of this forum. That's what he wants you know, to think that he is being successful in what he thinks is the "Lord's work" for him to come in and shut this forum down.

I know all about Refreshed, I was speaking with her right up until she did a runner.
Anyway I think even you got annoyed with Trapper at least once, yes you did, oh yes, something he said annoyed the whole forum, I was the only one who was not on here at that time and when I came back it was very quiet because I think the said Trapper blew his top. I posted a song about a melancholy man, then you came back and used melancholy in your answer to him, you were not happy. Yes it is what it is which is why we need a Trollslayer.

This is a reply to # 2,415,207I agree with you Tansy that Trollslayer makes many excellent points and i also give him credit where credit is due.
It's possible that completely ignoring the troll may be the best long term solution, but on the other hand, it does seem that ignoring the troll did not accomplish the desired effect. Of course, the troll was never fully ignored by everybody all at once, so that particular anti-troll strategy remains untested :).
I don't believe that someone standing up against the initiator of unrelenting abuse is himself an abuser, but rather that such an individual is in many instances doing the right thing in God's eyes.
When Lord Jesus challenged the pharisees by calling them hypocrites, brood of vipers and sons of the devil as precipitated by their unrelenting and unrepentant bad behavior, He was setting an example for one way of challenging abusers and in so doing He did not Himself become one. For those who might say, "yeah but that was Jesus and since we are not perfect and sinless we are not worthy of emulating Him", Stephen before his stoning provided another example of this. The gentle Jesus who would never call unrelentingly abusive individuals sons of the devil simply does not exist and in extreme situations as the ones He dealt with... and as the one taking place in this forum, His true followers need to at least consider the possibility that He would have us challenge the abuser as He Himself did and as Stephen did.
In balancing this out, i do not believe that Lord Jesus would lead anybody to continue to challenge the troll day after day for weeks, months and years. At some point, such activity becomes as pearls before swine and at some point it is time to shake the dust off of ones feet and move on. As one aspect of living our lives unto the Lord by His Spirit, it is essential to seek His will in each unique situation as to how He would have us respond... and for us to do our very best in discerning His leading correctly and delighting in doing whatever He leads.

A very sensible answer to this situation. I think your right that in the long term Trollslayer won't be able to get rid of the Troll but Trollslayer is making things uncomfortable for the Troll and it's showing. I do think the Trollslayer is gutsy to take the Troll on. That Troll has had some pretty nasty cards tucked up his sleeves so to speak.
It seems to me that the Troll sees themselves in charge of this forum, it comes across like that so Trollslayer disrupting the Troll is having an effect.
I just don't understand how the troll gets away with it when Curezone is supposed to be moderated, it's putting people off from coming to Curezone, the place use to be a busy hub but you can't compare Curezone to how it use to be, it's lost it's greatness.-
