What a relief to find this website. Ive been struggling for 2 yrs with no support from my GP. Whatever is using me is scarring my skin really badly. I have a suspicion the problem came via our hot water system. My Gp did do 2 microbiology tests right at the start of my problem but i had no help extracting the parasites from my skin..i was expected to do it myself and i can only see properly out of one eye so the results came back as skin only. I had no clue what to look for as i have zero experience with parasites ever. Whatever it is attaches itself to my skin under the skin and it grows bigger and produces these weird things i can only conclude is some type of lava. Im going to try to attach a picture of them. Ive used a microscope type camera app on my phone so the pics are not the best quality. I need help desperately and im even prepared to pay to see a parasitologist. Im in Dorset Uk. Im now gonna try work out how to attach a pic of these blighters that are making my life miserable. I had a water guy come to the house from the local supplier but he only tested the cold water tap which came back clear and checked the water pipework through the. house which he found was heavily eroded from the hot tap pipes all the way to the out side of the property where it joins the main pipe. I have through my own research discovered that in these circumstances it is possible for any sewerage leak to get in through the eroded pipe and make it back up into the household water system. I have managed to be seen by a dermatologist who diagnosed a form of eczema
that is apparently caused by stress or bug bites. I took sammples of these things which dont seem to move once i have them out but they did not have a microbiology department and so just referred me back to my lovely GP. I live in a council property as i was diagnosed at 27 with Fibromyalgia and later on M.E. too and another health condition but it means im disabled and unable to work so in the hands of the council which have been really unhelpful again. Is there anyone out there that has had or has something similar or offer any help even just advice please. My name is Zoe im 42 but feel like 62 and these horrible things have made parts of my hair fall out and scar me badly enough i feel some of it may be long lasting scarring even over my face so u can imagine how i am feeling. lol.
