I've noticed my stomach moving lately. After I eat, and get bloated, I lift my shirt and look down at my stomach. It shifts and jerks back and forth, like contractions or something moving around. It is very noticeable, but not as noticeable as visible peristalsis.
I rarely feel the movements, but sometimes have sudden, short pains, or pulling sensations in my colon. I have some issues with constipation, which I sometimes take stuff for, and can still have a bm at least every other day.
My girlfriend is worried and thinks I should see a doctor. Has anyone experienced this, or heard of it? I searched online but didn't find much.
Focus on the symptoms like pain, or gas, or indigestion, and learn from those symptoms what foods trigger it, and what foods your should limit or eliminate 100%.
Large worms, like tapeworms, can also move like small snakes. Tapeworms can be over 2 meter long, but their bodies are very slim, like a tape, and I doubt that a motion of a Tapeworm could be observed by watching the belly.
Tapeworms are significantly smaller than intestines. It is far more likely to observe intestines move, tha to observe Tapeworm moving.
I did not notice movement but I sure did feel it. My colon would suddenly jerk and twist. Very painful, I'm still not sure what it was BUT I found that taking calcium supplements in the AM and magnesium supplements in the PM ended it. The spasms were so bad it would stop me in my tracks and double me over.
I also had ascaria parasites really bad but I am not sure it was anything but a contributing factor. So foolishly, recently I convinced myself that the calcium supplement was no longer needed. WRONG! Same pain came back. Immediately back to the cal/mag routine and the pain is gone again. AND the constipation goes away with the pain.
