Even if Tom Horn doesn't claim to be a prophet, do you not see anything wrong with making false predictions about Jesus returning with such certainty as he did (can't remember the exact time frame he gave but we have definitely passed it). That's much more serious than a false prediction about the weather, right? And if someone makes such a huge false prediction, why would anyone listen to anymore predictions from that person? And where is the apology? Tom Horn, prophet or not, said that prediction about Jesus returning with such excitement and confidence and do you really think that didn't effect people's lives who took him seriously? I even think weather forecasters should apologize to everyone when they predict some big storm or something and people change their plans, etc. and they get it wrong. I mean I know they can't help it, it's hard to be completely accurate and they do the best they can, but just to be nice they should say "Hey, we're really sorry we predicted that wrong!" And I'm sure many times they do. But I doubt Tom Horn went on the Jim Bakker show and said he was really sorry for falsely predicting the return of Jesus. And why wouldn't he do that? I think it's because he knows he doesn't have to. He knows there are many that believe as you do Rainy, that's it's okay to goof up countless times, even over the most serious matters such as Jesus returning, and everyone will go on as if it's nothing, and not a single ounce of his credibility will be lost with his loyal supporters. So he doesn't have to humble himself in the least and admit he was wrong. He just has to keep yapping about the next thing that will get everyone hyped up, and on and on it goes. And I'm sure he makes a lot of money doing it too. Tom Horn has written many books it looks like about all his "predictions". But I don't want to single out Tom Horn. There are so many others that are getting away this stuff non-stop and the ones saying, "Thus saith the Lord" with their false prophecies are even worse.
