Hello.
I’m european. Live in Ukraine. I’m very sick with filariasis ( it’s like onchocerciasis) for 4 years. I had treatment with Ivermectin and Diethylcarbamazine(I was lucky - they brought me medicines from abroad) and I had remission for 2 years. I thinked that I killed all worms, but not.
In Ukraine doctors don’t know about this disease.
And can’t diagnosed it.
My antibody analysis to Filariasis ( igG/igG4 antigen d.immitis) are positive, but doctors in Ukraine don’t want to get in touch and help me.
I have problems with the skin, subcutaneously and the eyes, and very strong intoxication. I had many terrible symptoms.
What exactly kind of onchocerciasis I have I do not know.In 2013, when I fell ill(first year of disease), I almost died, until I realized what it was and what to treat.
This is seems like to this:

I’m only 30 years old.. and I want to live...
Somebody have filarial diseases here?
How you live with them?
