It’s incredibly hard, but relax. Negative thinking will not get you anywhere. I know this well. Cry, wail. Then, act.
I have gone through this, and, unfortunately, am not cured. Mine started late March with the rash, eyes.
Q: Do you have hypopigmentation spots, among all the other rashes and lesions?
I have gone to Cahill, Yu, and about 12 other doctors.
Your stools will be negative. I had about 10-12 different travel diseases tested. Negative.
COMMON HISTORY: Exposed to muddy water, fill dirt/sand, mold, from a renovation, excavation. Very sick after water leak from old bathrooms, into new kitchen.
TESTS: Get your c4a tested. This will be elevated with infection/inflammation. Regular blood panels will not present much. Visit a rheumatologist. Explain that you are incredibly sore. If you aren’t stiff yet, you likely will be. Show your rashes, and mouth sores, if present. Get c3 and c4 tests. They will be looking for lupus. Say nothing about parasites. Nothing. Tell me how they come back.
This is serious. I used to be a runner, and incredibly strong, healthy. This illness came on quickly. I don’t know what it is yet. It’s not a primary autoimmune disease, but will develop into something that looks like one. In my experience, do not take immunosuppressives or steroids.
RX: Get ‘azole drugs, prescribed. Garlic is your best friend right now. Eat raw garlic, as if it were popcorn.
I will update. I am working on this.
