Yes, I have lived with cats and have been dealing with protozoa for over 10 years. I had giardia and entamoeba histolytica diagnosed by different labs a number of times. It appears that only giardia remained however, I recently used a microscope and found what looked like larvae and ova and figured it could not hurt to use ivermectin since it's one of the last parasite medications I have not used. I have used other helminth killing medication such as Albendazole and Mebendazole... I would never think ivermectin would cause such issue with my vision.

It's true I have been to south america BUT... I haven't been to problem areas with those parasite flys/mosquitoes. That does not mean I do not have such parasite issue but I feel it's unlikely.

I may also have issues with lyme and this could be another clue as to what is going on.

I really wish this would go away... It's a terrifying condition.

Also.. I visited an opthomologist and there was nothing wrong with my eyes (retina is fine, no inflammation etc)... I don't know if those fly parasites are visible in such eye exam.
