Ok....I've made it to day 7. Things are going really well. The evening of Day 5 was rough....but I have a great friend (not doing the cleanse) who reminded me of my goals and how much I've already accomplished and jazzed me up to keep going. Very glad that I did!
I've seen several people mention the book "Eat to Live". I went out on Day 5 after the chat with my friend and bought the book. I finished reading it yesterday afternoon. Love it! That is exactly what I was looking for.
I've maintained a Vegan diet before and have been a strict vegetarian for about 10 years, but for some reason...after I got married I just couldn't hold to the Vegan+ (no white flour/sugar/rice/pasta) and have gained about 80 lbs since quitting being Vegan+. Even before I actually started the
Master-Cleanse I was trying to figure out what my future eating parameters would be. I am one of those people who needs to have a clear understanding of what I will and won't eat everyday and that helps me be successful.
The point of this post....for those of you who are really fat and sick of it....do this clease as a jumping off point. Getting through the minimum 10 days will give you all of the confidence you need to know that you can do anything related to your health. Seriously consider what you want your food intake to look like after the cleanse. I would recommend reading the "Eat to Live" book. You will also be able to have rapid weight loss eating by his methods. Think of all of the wonderful things you will be able to do without embarassment, difficulty, stress when you're at your ideal weight.
I actually have two posters tacked to the ceiling above my bed. One is Angelina Jolie (what I want to BE), the other is Vin Diesel (what I want to HAVE). Helps immensely!
To all...maintain your resolve. Just get through today!
