New dilemma on this fast.

Today is day 1, in fact just about completed day 1. Water but there was a 18hr dry stint in the middle.
However I am in the middle of moving house. Lots of 20-50lb items need to move from one house to another 100 miles away.
I received news that I am getting furloughed in july for a week. So 30th june onward till Monday the 10th. I am going to be doing semi hard labor.
This wouldn't bother me because I did this exact same thing in my 20 day fast Nov-dec.
Except I am trying for a pure and cleansing fast.
And I want to break it gently with pureed cruciferous veggies and eat lightly for a few days atleast. I would really not be able to do that in this time.
I do suppose I could not get true hunger till well after the 10th. Seeing as I have no symptoms from any fast even my 20 dayer in nov-dec I may be overthinking this.

Sometimes it is better to wait till all life stresses are gone, well, practically, handleable.
It is best to fast when you have no physical or mental strain. Also expectations are an invitation to disappointments.
While moving and time off from work, eat raw organic fruits and veggies only, no coffee, sugary junk, animal products, and see the power of nature's bounty. All foods have to be eaten sitting down with calm mind, masticate all fruits and veggies. You can include nuts and seeds. Don't eat on the go.
Take a break from fasting, don't think about it at all. You have a lot going on in your life.

I guess I'll fast for weight loss now, and worry about cleansing after.
Once my wife gets back and I have had a few months of a steady diet, I'll try the liver cleanse etc.
For now I will fast till I get hunger. Or the grabs of fat are gone.
Or the simpler thing would be to eat on 30th and the worry of those 8 days will not be an issue. So I'd have broken the fast into 12 day and how many ever days after. Anyway I am approaching 48 hr mark and feeling good. Don't feel like eating and likely would not feel like eating for a few days atleast.

I wish my body would just find the fat and burn it.
It takes me a solid 5 or so days to get there.

Cold hands and feet are a sign of Iodine deficiency. After you complete this fast you can do Iodine protocol for ten days.
For now do foot soaks with warm water and Lugol's iodine. You put Epsom Salt in warm water in a bucket and then add two dropper full of Iodine in it. Soak your feet while watching TV for an hour, if possible twice a day.

This is a reply to # 2,373,121Awesome. Thanks, I'll have to find it locally. In fact I don't have Epsom Salt either and I've been wanting to do that cos I am fighting constipation as well.
Not a whole body soak in the tub ? I don't have a foot bath. I sould use a bucket I guess.

This is a reply to # 2,373,132One should not worry about constipation during a fast. If during refeeding, after a fast the constipation continues, I would eat more fruits or take Trifala everyday till the problem goes away.
Lugol's Iodine is available on Amazon.
Bucket is good enough for foot soaks. Yes to full body soak bath.

Just LOVE a hot Epsom bath. That's the down side with showers.
Well this is bizarre. Las week my 4 day fast bought my blood Sugar well down. This week 4th day it's 8.2 during the day. ..only had water and vit.C any ideas?
Going to have a nice fatty meal tonight.

This is a reply to # 2,373,121I am not wanting to Epsom Salt soak this fast because I am looking for my body to get rid of its intestinal contents by itself.
However The cold hands and feet are very very annoying in 80 degree weather.
You think while Water Fasting I can take Iodine ?
Should I get nascent Iodine or the one with Potassium OK ?
BTW if it will absorb via skin, I'll apply it to my hands and feet instead of eating it.

I may just soak in that. But does Iodine get absorbed via skin ? I can just eat it too, I like tea with salt and baking soda.
