the problem is that refreshed replied to me and then loquat had to complain about his brain or lack thereof and that cascaded into who knows what and you joined in. i responded to refreshed and not to the rest of it.
it is possible to read the board but some effort is required when others chime in as they did. use a straight edge and then once you can see the way it reads then you wont need it. plus, the subject matter tells a tale. i dont usually start spouting off things out of the blue unless its anew thread of something.
the format used to change marker shapes to help delineate threads and sub-threads but not any more.

This is a reply to # 2,369,706Are you set up to receive alerts in your inbox to let you know that someone replied to you? Mine has been messed up for some time now. It will work every now and then and stop. So I never know if I miss any replies to my messages or not. I just try to do my best to scan the forums with my eyes to see. Mine has been messed up ever since they brought in this new software. I have noticed a few people complaining about weird glitches that seem to effect them personally and not others, but I can't say I understand it. I have tried setting and un-setting my preferences, but nothing seems to hold. And the Webmaster has looked at it a couple of times, but must not be able to figure it out.
But as far as visually being able to see who I'm posting to, the only way that has worked for me is to use the old forum which is //www.curezone.org
It doesn't have all the neat bells and whistles as the .org one does, but at least I'm not making the mistake with debate of replying to the wrong person (as much). Yeah when these debates become really long, it's even hard to use a straight edge to figure it all out. You can try sending me a mail to see if I get it but I don't think it will come through.

@ rainy: Hmm....well, as a Christian, I can agree - up to a point. Trubble is, while you're praying for them, they have this unfortunate habit of lopping your head off or burning you alive in metal cages. I'm really not sure I wanna hang around them long enough to give them that pleasure. I know that historically my brethren walked into the arena to face death by lion chomping or incineration, but they were obviously made of much sterner stuff than I could ever aspire to.
I also know that vengeance belongs to God, but if a kalashnikov suddenly appeared in my hands just as I was about to be salamied by a 'jihadist', I'm not at all certain I would be able to resist using it. Not necessarily to save my own life, but to save the lives of others who might find themselves in the same predicament in short order.
Look at what the Coptic Christians are going thru right now in Egypt. Or other Christian groups in countries like Nigeria, Pakistan and India. How long before these groups are totally extinguished in countries where Christianity has had a presence since Biblical times?
In those specific circumstances, how long can we continue turning the other cheek? Do we continue doing so to the point of total extinction? I ask as both a pacifist and firm believer in gun control, as well as a poor example of the Christian faith.

@Loquat: You don't have to be anywhere near them to pray for them. They are obviously dangerous to be around. We have to fight them in the natural as well if necessary, I mean those in jobs to do so. I don't personally fight them. People like me fight their evil in prayer. We fight the demonic powers behind their evil because our fight is not really with them. They are flesh and blood. We fight with our spiritual weapons. That does not mean that we will not ever have to use physical weapons to fight evil like the people in Texas do. They wouldn't stand a chance around Refreshed. She is armed both physically and spiritually. I don't believe that the "turning the other cheek" scripture is talking about allowing people to murder and rape others. We need to fight to stop murder and all evil.
We need to remember that Jesus loves these deceived people so much that he died for them. He cares for them. He grieves for them. We need to pray to love them because Jesus loves them. We are to hate the devils driving them, but we must love the people. Save for the grace of God it could be me. They think they are pleasing God with their evil deeds. They don't know the real God. Yes, I know that, but I was trying to put myself in the place of those who live near/among them. They are being slaughtered daily. If I were one of them, would I be able to pray for my enemy while my head was being hacked off? I'm more likely to punch/kick him in the goolies. All pretense to Christian charity instantly disappears in a puff of smoke. But that's OK, coz I'm sound on Messiah's deity, etc. Hmm..... Trapper might have a point after all.

In both of our countries are 'wasters' that cry when caught that they are the downtrodden in society.
I say simply to that they are outnumbered by millions that are or were in the same boat but just got on with life.
Perhaps we need change to spread the money for why are wages so enormously different.
Capitalism only works for the few so if we can change that we just might just begin to make our lives easier but I still think we will always have 'losers'.
My policy would be 'if you don't work you don't eat'.
