Blood in the urine is NOT normal. If the symptoms you mention - pain, bloody urine and constipation - persist, you should go see your health care professional. In the meantime, keep yourself hydrated by drinking both the water and lemonade and switch to the senna leaf tea - Smooth Move or Get Regular - in the mornings and evenings. You are not supposed to take any pills, medications, vitamins, mints, etc. during the cleanse, including laxative pills. The ingestion of anything but the lemonade will cause digestion defeating the purpose of the fast.

I seriously doubt this is related to the SWF, but if it were me I would definitely be asking questions of my caring health professional!

Blood in the urine and pain in the area of the kidnys are both symptoms of a urinary tract infection. I would DEFINITELY talk to a professional because if that's what you have, it's easy to treat but it won't go away by itself. And probably not related to the fast or SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) because they are caused by bacteria. I go through phases where I get recurrent UTI's, sometimes for no apparent reason. Cranberry juice helps with symptoms.
