Hello Everyone,
I have been on a Candida diet over the past two and a half weeks, trying to rid myself of Candida which I discovered I have in large amounts due to a stool test that found high amounts of yeast in multiple samples.
At this stage of the diet I am not experiencing die-off, but in the past few weeks I did have really bad die-off on a few occasions. I am taking multiple anti-fungals that I am rotating to try and kill this, along with high doses of probiotics. However, I have bowel movements where large amounts of yeast are clearly visible.
I want to add in l-glutamine to help heal my leaky gut, but do not want to feed the candida while I am killing it. I have seen many conflicting reports as to whether l-glutamine feeds candida.
Anyone have any experiences they can share about using l-glutamine for candida, especially at the early stages of the diet?
Thanks!
