unfortunately it doesn't work for me. My peeling starts with rawness/inflammation. SO I'm trying to find out what gastrointestinal problems I have that are causing this.

Hi there daniel, I'm in the later stages of my healing process and would love any help you can offer. I have noticed that the buildup reduces as my lip skin grows back, I wanted to ask while you were healing did you notice the raw parts of your skin (if you had any) on the lip growing back? and second question what was your aim while using the steroid cream. Did it reduce buildup/inflammation, because I want to understand how necessary it was in your healing process. I've been using one for about six months and I want to cut down on it but I don't want to impede my healing process. If you can answer those two questions for me it would be great.

There is also the issue that what might work for him will NOT work for everyone who has peeling lips.

I actually wasted a considerable amount of time following his advice and it did not cure me.

The basic information to repeat in your mind is that there are MANY underlying causes for peeling lips and not all of them will be cured the same way.

We see this many many times over countless years on this board. The moment someone gets cured or sees improvement they start to post about it like they have found the holy grail. It doesn't work like that and if you are not careful you can waste months if not years of your life following someone elses method and it's the wrong method.

I don't hold anything against daniel but I think he should make a more obvious point that his cure will not work for everyone. At least he has the courage and decency to follow up and give feedback years after being cured which puts him in a league of his own. There are many here that post 'cure' threads when they are not legitimately cured and don't even have the respect to come back and say they were wrong.
