I have started taking collodial silver for folliculitis 3 days ago. In the past the dermatologist prescribed doxycycline 50, which made it significantly worse. I stopped taking it after two months as it was not improving by then. I started using nizoral body wash and it made it better, but was still there. I got a skin biopsy which showed an infection but did not determine what type so she said it was most likely fungal or a combination as I have it on my legs too. It is on my back/chest/arms as well. I recently stopped using nizoral as it went up to $40 and it was losing it's effectiveness. Now I use organic skincare doctor virgin coconut wash, applying solutions4health fortified defense withoregano oil, peppermint and olive leaf extract. I could not find a pure oregano oil. So I have a few more breakouts that usual. My question is could it be part of the detoxing process for collodial silver or could it be the products I am using causing the breakout??

This is a reply to # 2,329,593Thanks that was a help, I have been taking a tablespoon a day as I am just starting out. So I guess it would take longer to see results? Also are you using any other treatment as in body wash, topicals etc?

This is a reply to # 2,329,815I use Colloidal Silver in a nebulizer for my lungs, and I use Colloidal Silver GEL on my feet for foot fungus. I also spray Colloidal Silver into my hair for dandruff.
I also use the GEL on insect bites,

This is a reply to # 2,329,889I have been trying to make improvements in my diet. Lately I have been drinking 8 glasses of water and pretty much cut soft drinks out of my diet. I have been keeping track on my diet with a nutritional application on my phone. At times my diet can be high in Sugar and fat so I have been trying to cut back and eat more healthy. I also have a lot of dairy which I have heard can contribute to folliculitis so I plan to eat less of that.
