Keeping it short: yellow stool, acne, itching, slight pain under right rib but very occasional and not too noticeable, waking up at 2-3am all the time, tired, brain fog, problems digesting fats(looks like it pass through me).
One doctor said I might have problems with bile drainage but she does not know why it might be so sent me to another doctor.
She did endoscopy, found ulcer scars in duodenum and positive h pylori. That other doctor, when informed, seemed to agree those need to be treated but my issues stem from liver problems and not exactly colon, in her opinion. My liver tests are fine, I was tested for heps, hiv, celiac, pancreas is working ok. I feel like chasing symptoms only because, assuming bile drainage is not working properly, then we will have overgrowth of bacteria(like H Pylori) who might cause ulcers etc.
I found that in a rather random fashion, things like digestive bitters, lecithin helps in turning stools into more brown color. My mentions of slight discomfort in gallbladder area, occasional mild pain seem to not concern gastroenterologists too much. I have no idea what else I can try in order to find out the root cause of the issues?
On the other hand, biliary drainage problems do not make sense. I had yellowish stools for years and I am confused how I could possibly have something serious wrong there because over those 2-3 years I would surely have experienced something worse?
