Hi Dami,
I still haven't done it - my schedule keeps changing and so I haven't had a full day to myself.
I bought a book on
Liver Flushes on Amazon and I read Dr. Wilson's instructions (slightly different). I might read Andrea Moritz' book too.
I'm doing it because of my age (figure I must have stones), the results of others, I'm having trouble losing weight, I think I have fatty liver due to drinking bulletproof coffee for a year, and I have acne. Oh, and I wake up multiple times at night and have trouble falling back asleep.
Since I haven't had a full day to stay home, I bought Renew Life Liver Detox and I'm on day 5. I'm trying to eat foods good for the liver but I have cheated a bit with home made banana bread. I know I should just stop, but I have cravings.
I've also been eating or
juicing 4 apples a day, plus drinking Dr. Axe's tonic with apple cider vinegar, in order to prep for an eventual liver flush. I'm going to keep doing this until I get to the flush.
I also take ground milk thistle in the morning with ground flax and burdock, dandelion, and fenugreek seed, I drink
Essiac tea twice a day (4 ingredient) and I'm taking NAC when I remember to (it's also in the detox kit I bought).
I am also honestly terrified to do the flush. I'm terrified of it backfiring on me and making myself really sick or triggering more
Acne and having to do another flush soon while I am so busy with school (I'm a grad student).
Why were you thinking of doing a flush? Have you tried it yet?
