Hi, this is my third time starting the fast. Unfortunately, the timing coincides with a cold (sore throat, etc...) and drinking the lemonade hurts a little.
This reminds me that on both previous fasts, by day 10, I had devloped canker sores at the back of throat that seemed to be brought on by the juice. Is this normal? Do other people experience this? Is there any way to prevent these from returning this time?

MoreThis is a reply to # 231,596I'm on my 4th day and also have a canker/boil of some sort in my mouth but I just assumed it was the detoxing at work. (I'm no expert at this.)

But the sores never disappeared during the fast and only went away when I stopped drinking. Could it be I didn't do the cleanse for long enough to get rid of the sores?
