I fasted for 8 days last summer and it went really well and easily. Tomorrow I'll be doing another week of water fasting, and I'm looking very much forward! Only one major issue concerns me, and that is the way my energy was so low. I ended up lying down all day and night, doing nothing. I wasn't feeling sick, but just very tired. I almost slept 15 hours through the days and nights, but I have a feeling it doesn't have to be that way.
Is there anything other than deep breathing I can do to up my energies? Gentle yoga? Walking? I know fasting is also a time for rest, but lying in bed 24/7 seems extreme to me, especially when I wasn't having any other symptoms. No nausea, no hunger, no moodiness, no pain. I'd so much like to be able to do some art, draw, paint, read, write, maybe sing and play like I do in my free time.
Thanks!
:)
