Well, I will just to name a few significant ones.
Firstly, I have always had bad complexion, with redness, rough patches and acne. After just 18 days, all my
Acne went away except some scars that faded just a little. my redness had gone too and my skin feels butt smooth. I noticed my complexion getting better as early as day 5.
Secondly, my hydration levels soared. I noticed that my mouth was producing more saliva and I didn't get thirsty quite as often. The extra saliva in my mouth also enhanced the flavours of my food, making healthy foods taste so good. And speaking of healthy foods, I realised I do not crave unhealthy foods as much, and when I do consume them, I will have an immediate, slight nausea, like my system was rejecting the food. Fortunately, now I enjoy healthy foods so I do not miss the junk foods.
Thirdly, interestingly enough, I have an easier time putting on muscle after the fast. Currently my muscle percentage is about 45% as opposed to 37% prior. That is quite a bit for a female! That is a lovely surprise because people tend to focus on losing muscle during fasting, but they don't realise that fasting makes the body more efficient, thus making it easier to keep our physiques in good shape.
In addition, I noticed a scar on my wrist slowing fading from day 16. As I ended on day 18, the scar has not completely disappeared. But it is a well-known fact that the body will utilize scar tissues and damaged cells during fasting, thus reversing our ageing process.
I must say that I am not a medical doctor of any kind. But I do see fasting as allowing the body to work its magic in healing. For humans can never improve nature as God intended. :)
