Hey,
Sorry, I don't check here that often anymore. When I mentioned that the probiotics made me feel better, I meant that they generally helped with digestion and energy. Do some research on the gut biome and I think you'll find that probiotics are a safe and healthy addition to almost any lifestyle, whether through diet or supplements.
Although I have my theories, I, like everyone else here, honestly have no idea what EC actually is. I am however very confident nowadays that it has at least in some degree a psychological element to it and very likely comes about as a side effect of accutane.
To answer your questions.
1) Don't use lip balms or moisturizers, though I don't shy away from getting oils on my lips when eating either.
2) Lips do not turn white in contact with water, or at least not to any noticeable degree.
3) when washing my face in the shower I still wash the lips with soap as well.
The reason I advocate for the probiotics is because accutane is well documented for f***ing up people's stomachs.
Probiotics help regulate the gut biome. The other link I posted of that guys success made me especially interested. I would definitely check it out if I was you. Keep me posted and don't hesitate with any other questions you may have.
