I had restless legs at night in bed for 2 yrs - alongside other medical issues.
I managed to get rid of it but not sure *exactly* but i started a new supplement protocol.
I started off with vit C powder (sodium ascorbate - i have low BP so could tolerate the extra sodium) - about 5 grams a day.
I also included B complex (B-Right jarrow - best form of biologically absorbable B vits with real folate!)
Then i included ACES - Vit A, C, E, Selenium.
Copper!! If you have low blood Iron, it's not necessarily iron that's needed - copper helps iron to be absorbed...so low copper can lead to anemia.
2.5mg copper daily.
Omega 3 - flaxseed freshly ground up - and Udo's Oil.
Magnesium Glycinate poweder - spoonful daily.
With the above basic supplements my restless leg jumps and startles stopped.
If i miss a week of supplements it doesn't return.
I think the vitamins have helped balance out neurotransmitter levels and hormones which has resulted in less symptoms generally and complete cessation of restless leg syndrome.
