I realize now why Iodine made me feel bad the first time around.
I was at starvation levels of protein because of my restricted diet because of my pancreas issue.
This time around I decided to throw caution to the wind and eat as much protein and fat as I want with just a few carbs from nuts and such.
Absolutely no issues with the Iodine making me feel hypo.
50mg per day without selenium and I feel no adverse effects on the thyroid.
Eating too little will throw your thyroid out of whack even with iodine.

This is a reply to # 2,305,544Sounds like you have a adrenal fatigue also better get it checked. The adrenal glands control blood glucose levels.

This is a reply to # 2,305,558Yeah, I thought about that too. I had my hormone levels checked and they were normal as far as the adrenals go.
My problem is that my pancreas makes too much insulin in response to carbohydrates.

Thanks for the heads up, I was reading in the Water Fasting forums and I guess we have to separate these protocols.

This is a reply to # 2,306,155So you are saying its not a good idea to fast while takng iodine? Also eat a diet high in fat and protein? How about fasting on raw milk while taking iodine?
