I started taking Nystatin a couple of months ago
At first the impact was dramatic....
I could feel my airways clearing and could breathe through my nose for the first time in ages. However, I also had heart palpitations and a strong desire for sugar.
I scaled back the dosage due to these negative results.
Recently I have increased the dosage again but have neither the positive or negative results of last time, it's as though nothing is really happening.
Anyone understand why this could be? Has the candida already mutated and is no longer affected?

This is a reply to # 2,300,609You have a bad systematic fungus infection. And yes it is now immune to that antifungal. I have the same thing what helped me was vitamin c IV.
And a diet of very little carbs and no sugar. Go to a naturopath path. But I wouldn't do the hydrogen proxoide iv wicth I'm sure they will push on you.
It is not safe do the vitamin c IV. Your body turns vitamin c into hydrogen proxoide anyways.
You also can not eat gluten or night shades or dairy. Only meat and green vegetables- Re: Nystatin resistance? Barzini

I was wary of the herx reaction, so cut the pill up and just took maybe 1/8th of the pill
Nevertheless, I still felt really terrible - to terrible to even get out of bed
One thing that helps (but is hard to do), is to eat one meal per day
Have you ever been to a normal doctor? What do they suggest?

This is a reply to # 2,300,896Taking less of any antifungal than prescribed to you allows your candida to be resistant to it. So now you are more than likely resistant to both those medications. STOP DOING THAT. - Re: Nystatin resistance? lordcooler

This is a reply to # 2,300,896I have no rash so they don't believe me. Diflucan worked somewhat when I used them.
If you are getting that bad of a reaction from so little you must have it really bad.
Hydrogen proxoide iv though not safe might be your cure. You sound very sick and the longer you only eat one meal aday the more of a foot hold the fungus is getting on your weaken body
I ate no Sugar or carbs while doing the vitamin c iv. I caved in today and my systoms are back in full bloom.
Vitamin c iv did improve some of my symptoms.

This is a reply to # 2,301,389I've been on parasite RX meds for over 2 years. I developed, or had all along, candida. I did not know for certain if it was systemic.
In an attempt to short-circuit worm migration through my lungs, about 2 weeks ago I began nebulizing 6 drops of Lugol's Iodine once, and sometimes twice, a day. I've also been taking 2 CaprilyCare capsules totaling 1,600 mg caprylic acid for the past 3 months.
The result from adding the Lugol's has been quite amazing. I began passing a lot of candida in my urine during the first bladder empting each day. This only went on 5 days. Now, occasionally, I am still passing what could be candida, or biofilm or clear mucus, or something like slime. I don't know what it is. I just know better out than in.
Is it possible inhaling Lugol's could help others as well? I just wanted to put this information out there in case it might help.

This is a reply to # 2,301,423Watch out for doctors prescribing antifungals and Antibiotics and just absolutely refuse to do both at the same time NO Matter WHat they Say! candida a. loves to be alone with the lymph and blood in your system , takes over macrophages and overpowers them. Then where are you, compromised at best. The reason is there is no good flora and fauna present to balance when the Antibiotic kills it all off. I had to start taking a very good trusted source of l acidophylus for my gut and it works fine. I am not taking anything for infections under control now , naturally with alternative treatments. I found pink grapefruit for the candida and am spreading it around. Please do try and let me know. It is the lycopene and folate. Watermelon has it too. no studies or Science behind it, try it, feel good, use it.
Aslo have not googled that medicine nystatin? Is an azole type?
