Hi Hippyguy,
I don't think it's going to set you back that much.
Under the right conditions, yes, candida can rapidly reproduce, but that's in a particular set of circumstances.
In a person's digestive tract, even if you end up feeding it, most of the extra candida growth that gets reproduced gets washed out of your system and only some of the extra can remain to build their biofilms and latch onto the gut.
So maybe you gave it a chance to creep up the tiniest bit. You can start kicking candida butt and beating it back further tomorrow.
Check out this interactive map of the small and large intestines. it gives you info on what parts produce enzymes and where the certain nutrients get absorbed and how long each segment is (approx.)

it's pretty cool info, but it can also help you feel like you're more in control of what's going on.
For instance, I think I've cleared the candida out of my duodenum because I can feel my gut swish around and churn after eating when before, it seemed that the candida pretty much killed the processes and I didn't feel much gurgling and such.
I say to myself okay, I cleared that section lets move on to the next. And then I just plot the next course. It helps me keep a focus and figure out evidence of progress so I don't get upset if I have a set back.
Anyway, sorry you had a bad day. I think it's natural to have setbacks occasionally.
